NEW REGULATIONS ON EUROPEAN PATENT APPLICATIONS

Stephan Freischem of Patentanwälte Freischem will be conducting a 1 hour
presentation on the new regulations adopted by the European Patent Office (EPO). The
new regulations will enter into force on April 1, 2010. These new regulations will
considerably speed up the examination proceedings. Further, they restrict the applicant’s
options of filing divisional applications.
