This course has been approved by the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education for 1.0 total CLE hour(s) instruction.

Social Media Law is one of the most rapidly developing areas of practice in the intellectual property field. With the explosion of Social Media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, a plethora of traditional intellectual property issues have been injected into an entirely new medium with little guidance on how those issues are to be treated. Like Internet Law before it, Social Media Law is evolving in real time, as the major players in this new industry innovate and change on the fly, forcing practitioners to stay closely tied to their every move lest they risk falling behind the curve. This panel discussion will highlight some of the current issues in Social Media Law, with the caveat that while the answers given may be right today, they may change tomorrow as the social media community continues to evolve.

The panel will be moderated by J. Michael Hurst (Of Counsel, Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL) and will include:

• Steven W. Caldwell (Counsel – IP, The Procter & Gamble Company)
• Sarah Otte Graber (Partner, Wood, Herron & Evans LLP)
• Geoffrey L. Oberhaus (Partner, Dinsmore & Shohl LLP)

PRICES (including lunch):
• $20 for Members (includes 1 Hr Ohio CLE)
• $30 Non-Member with CLE
• $20 Non-Member without CLE
• $15 Students and Full-Time Academics

“I’m Not an Alcoholic – Why am I Here?”

Featuring

James Slattery, JD

Presentation: 4:15pm – 5:15pm

He was a Board Member of the Alcoholism Council of the Cincinnati Area from 2001 to 2004 when he left that position to become a Trustee of the Hamilton County Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services Board where he served until its merger with the Hamilton County Health Board in 2007. He has been a Board Member of the Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board from its creation to the present time.
