Our speaker will be April Besl of Dinsmore & Shohl LLP. Ms. Besl will cover Social Media and Marketing considerations for today’s IP attorneys. For the vast majority of businesses today, social media is a key component of their advertising strategy, in some cases the only avenue through which they advertise. Ms. Besl will take attendees through the legal pitfalls of advertising on social media covering not only how to advertise safely and in compliance, but also what to do when you need to take action against someone else on social media. Ms. Besl will further cover the most recent updates to the FTC’s Endorsement Guides, which were released in July of 2023.
The webinar event will be approximately 60 minutes.
