Annual membership dues are an essential element of the budget that enable CincyIP to operate throughout the year and host CLE events of premium quality.  They help to bridge the gap between the programming costs that we incur and registration fees paid by attendees, and they ultimately allow us to provide you with engaging and educational events worthy of your valuable time and attention.

Our membership categories are as follows:

Active-Professional: $85
The majority of our Members are legal practitioners in private practice or corporate environments, and fall within the “Active-Professional” category.

Active-Academic: $55
We recognize that law professors and similar academics may not receive reimbursement for their registration fees through their employer, and thus we reserve a discounted “Active-Academic” category for these individuals.

Associate-Professional: $55
This category encompasses non-lawyer individuals such as interested business persons, patent agents, paralegals, legal assistants, etc.

Honorary/Student: $5
This category encompasses Judges, other distinguished persons, and students.  Please note that this category of membership does not carry voting rights.

An Advertising Law Update on Natural Product Marketing

Kick off your 2019 CLEs with CincyIP on Thursday, January 17. 

Procter & Gamble attorneys Eissabeth Swedenberg and Kaila Faig will provide an Advertising Law update on natural product marketing. Consumers are seeking out “natural” products in increasing numbers, focusing more on product ingredients and safety, while large and small companies alike race to establish a market share in this rapidly expanding market. Ms. Swedenberg and Ms. Faig will provide an overview on marketing strategies for products in the “natural” space, as well as highlights from recent court decisions and first-hand perspective on the ways marketers are navigating this evolving area.
