Our speaker will discuss the considerations IP practitioners should take when dealing with Patent Pro Bono opportunities (USPTO and Ohio Invents) and educating the next generation of inventors and practitioners (Geof Oberhaus).

During the second part of the presentation learn about the tools and resources available for educating and exciting middle and high school students about IP rights (e.g., patent, trademark, copyright). The IP education toolkit is meant to complement existing Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) curriculums to educate students about the importance of IP and how IP could affect their personal lives and career journeys. Learn how you can be a part of the goal to educate students about IP to empower the next generation of innovators, IP professionals, or simply IP-aware students.
The webinar event will be approximately 60 minutes.
